Day 19 – Buenos Aires

Today is the depature day for our first tour and some of the group are going home today 😦

It’s been do much fun and has gone so quickly! Though I do feel like I need a couple of days relaxation to recover ready for the next tour.

After checking out of our hotel, a few of us headed for a late breakfast before meeting the rest of the group for a farewell lunch. We went to the food court at the Galerias Pacifico shopping mall where there were lots of different food options, I opted for a steak penne dish. It wasn’t great though!

After lunch I headed across town and checked into my home for the next 7 days, Duque Hotel in Palermo. The hotel is really nice and the bed is huge!! Am feeling very spoilt after 3 weeks in hostels πŸ™‚

We then went for a little explore around Palermo and stumbled across a little bakery with the most amazing mini cakes. You buy a tray and then pick and mix what you want. The dulce du leche meringues are to die for!!

After stuffing my face full of sweetie goodness, I headed back across town to meet the rest of the group for dinner and few drinks, strange now we are missing a few people! Had so much fun with everyone, will be sad to see them all go 😦
